The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option for those looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on medium-pile carpet as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't use LIDAR, however, as other models do, to identify your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the charging base. This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and low-pile carpet. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it doesn't have a second rubber brush for deeper cleaning, but it's an acceptable cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls and then move on whenever it comes across one.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something needs attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or if there's some clutter that must be cleared out frequently, like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac is also very efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you could need. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with a powerful suction that cleans carpet and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically cleans and empty mop pads, keeping them free of germs and ready to use again. It also has a sensor system that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design, Mop And Vacuum Combo Robot thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet tall and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

Finally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, so you can use it even if you're not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

These features are great however they can push the L10s into the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners would need.

It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish highlighted by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. The mops also work well, removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor or Quaker oats on carpet.
